Actor Gil Thompson (and a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia) on a high steppng horse. From the CBS-TV series, "Action in the Afternoon" where was shot live on the back lot of WCAU-TV. Gil tells us:

Never noted before was an Action in the Afternoon one-camera scene where Gil Thompson/cowboy medicineman is scripted to "Ride into town." Then, cut to in-studio bar scene. What happened: The rider (me), added 2-3 unscripted panic lines for 60-90 seconds, while I struggled with the horse. What really happened? Wardrobe gave me a brand new pair of jeans. Couldn't bend my knee until I grabbed my leg with two hands and lifted my foot into the sterup, mounted then "Rode into Town."
