This photo of Broadcast Pioneers member Bill Wright, Sr. dates from 1960.

It was a personal appearance by Bill Wright Sr. at the Raymond Rosen Auditorium, 51st and Parkside Avenue in West Philly.

The event was to spotlight new releases by the record distributor. Bill was there to perform his narration release called "This Boy That I Call Son."

Also there to sing from his latest RCA Victor album, The Song is You, was the legendary jazz singer, Joe Williams.

Bill Wright also was the emcee for the Rosen event.

This is another shot from the same 1960 event at the Raymond Rosen Auditorium.

Raymond Rosen was the exclusive RCA Victor distributor for the Philadelphia market.

Rosen wasn't just a record distributor but also a wholesaler for not only records, but RCA television sets and Whirlpool appliances (which at that time were being manufactured by RCA Victor.)

Note that Bill Wright, Sr. of WIBG (Radio 99) is holding Joe Williams' latest RCA Victor "Living Stereo" long-playing record album.
