Here's a photo from 1942 of Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Famer Taylor Grant interviewing Philadelphia Athletics first baseman Dick Siebert.

Taylor was one of the Phillies announcers during 1942. Dick Siebert batted and threw left handed. He started with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1932, and then was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1937. The next year, he came to the Philadelphia Athletics. He ends his career with the A's at the end of the season of 1945. He played in the 1943 all-star game. Dick was considered to be one of the stars of the Philadelphia A's.
