Letter sent to Dr. Leon Levy, President of WCAU
from the station's staff in February of 1933

In February of 1933, WCAU Radio dedicated their new building. This is a restored version of the letter the staff sent to the station's president, Dr. Leon Levy. Keep in mind that 1933 was the heart of the depression where many Americans found themselves out of work or working for less in wages.

This original letter was in the possession of the Levy family for three quarters of a century until it was donated by them to the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia. We are delighted to add this historic doument to our growing archival project.
