In 1946, Broadcast Pioneers member Tom Moorehead was Sports Director for WFIL Radio. While he was best known as a sportscaster, he later did do other things like host a TV show on Channel 6 entitled, "Stop, Look & Listen." Tom Moorehead was one of our founding members and served as our 8th President from 1969 to 1970. He passed away while in office.

In the above photo we see Tom on location with his "WFIL Sports Clinic" broadcasts. It was of interest to adults and children alike. During this era, this radio broadcast was a very important part of the WFIL Radio program schedule.
