The studio audience of "Cinderella Weekend"
WCAU Studio
1950

This photo shows the left side of Studio X of the WCAU-TV studios at 1622 Chestnut Street in Center City Philly. This was a 250 seat auditorium on the second floor of the facility. Originally used for radio exclusively, it was easily modified for television use.

This picture was taken before airtime of "Cinderella Weekend"so the audience was still filing in for the broadcast. That's why all the seats weren't filled. This was a live simulcast on both WCAU-TV and radio. Later on, the radio and television versions would be separate broadcasts.

Charlie Higgins, a former long-time tech for WCAU e-mailed that he thinks that the cameraman is Dan Falzani. Can anyone confirmed this?
