In 1947, WFIL Radio was airing many different types of musical programs. We have in our archives, a 1947 broadcast of big band music, called "Midnight Mosaic." Can anyone identify the announcer?
What we do know about this program is that this clip is from a Sunday evening broadcast and comes from 1947. It probably dates from July or August as the 12:30 am temperature was 73 degrees. We do not know the exact date. However, we do know that on Sunday, September 14, 1947, "Midnight Mosaic" aired over WFIL from 12:10 am until 12:55 am. On Wednesday, November 29, 1950, the show aired from 12:15 am to 12:45.
