Broadcast Pioneers member Nat Wright
Broadcast Pioneers member Nat Wright came to WIP Radio from WWDC in Washington during 1961. He was the station's last swing man, a person who does both music and news.
In 1964, Nat wrote, produced and hosted a one hour program called, "World in Perspective." The series was a weekly broadcast with differenet people hosting it at different times.
On February 4, 1964, the station aired "World in Perspective" about Retarded Children. Today, we might title the show "Children with Special Needs." We have the entire program and present it here.
