Joe Niagara
1987

Broadcast Pioneers member Joe Niagara was a legend in Philadelphia. In 1957, Joe was doing the evening shift on WIBG. While he was playing rock and roll at that time, he was still playing Patti Page. In fact, artists like that continued on the WIBBAGE play list for years.

We have in our archive, a 26 minute clip of Niagara on WIBG Radio from Tuesday, July 9, 1957. It goes from 8:39 pm to 9:05 pm. We have 9 minutes of excerpts. It's in five parts with a couple seconds of dead air in between cuts. It will automatically roll through all five cuts once the audio starts. This is NOT from the Cruisin' 57 LP that Joe did.
