Office of the President
WCAU Radio
1932

On Friday evening, February 10, 1933, the new WCAU Radio at 1622 Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia was officially opened. However, it was in use for a few months before that date. Above we see the office of the station's president, Dr. Leon Levy who was a founding member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia.

At the time, WCAU Radio said of the office:

Horizontal wall panels of teakwood and furniture created especially for its surroundings combine with the latest developments in office efficiency in this unusual room where WCAU's President meets with his clients, business associates and members of his organization.
