Barry Cassell was a booth announcer, disc jockey, program announcer and played the part of Ace Bancroft on "Action in the Afternoon." The CBS-TV series was television's only completely live western and was broadcast live from the backlot of WCAU-TV in Philadelphia. The above photo was taken in Atlantic City on the boardwalk. The couple were on their honeymoon. Barry was at WAAM, Ann Arbor, Michigan at the time.
