Bud Galow, Ted Jackson & Chuck Hoover
Wednesday, November 26, 1958

It all took place at Philadelphia's Convention Hall at 34th and Spruce Streets in the University City section of Philadelphia. It was the Ted Jackson Show on WRCV Radio, LIVE!

At the extreme left of the shot is engineer Ralph "Bud" Galow, a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia. In the center, at the microphone is WRCV Air Personality, Ted Jackson, also known as T-Jay, the D-Jay. Under the WRCV call letters is Chuck Hoover, the program's producer.

Look at the pictures on the wall. There's Ted Jackson and in the upper center is Jack Rattigan.

Bud Galow who engineered this remote said: "I don’t know what the occasion was but then at that time we did remotes just to get our name and call letters to the public." Galow also said that Chuck Hoover came to Philadelphia from WTAM Radio (WTAM became KYW Radio in 1956 when the Philadelphia and Cleveland stations were swapped between NBC and Westinghouse).
