First on the tour was a visit into the control room where the WCAU newscasts originate from. This area will vary from station to station in both equipment and personnel. At WCAU, they have a control room crew consisting of a Producer, Director, Assistant Director, Technical Director, Audio Technican and ESS (Electronic Still Store) Operator.

Next on the tour was a visit to the graphics and promotion area. Afterwards, we went to the NBC-10 Master Control. This used to be manned by a WCAU engineer around the clock. However, most of the activities of master is now controlled by the people in New York City now.

Last on the tour of NBC-10 was a visit to the news set in the air studio. WCAU's Meteorologist Kathy Orr was there to greet the gang.
