Broadcast Pioneers member Sid Mark is a legend in Philadelphia. For a half-century, he has featured Frank Sinatra music on his radio program. Sid once said that the idea came from a listener who Mark was doing the overnight show on WHAT-FM. The caller said, "Why not play a bunch of Frank Sinatra songs back to back." Sid Mark did. Sid remarked: "My whole life would have been different if the caller asked for Jerry Vale."
