Both Shaner and Waldman were communications majors in the School of Business at Temple University. Klein, who is a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, taught at Temple. However, he didn't give up his day job at WFIL-TV. There, Lew did many things including directing Romper Room and being Executive Producer for American Bandstand.

FYI, If Ivan Shaner looks a little familiar, he should. You may know him as the legendary Philadelphia Folk DJ Gene Shay.
