Here's a Saturday afternoon newscast done by newsman Ken Roberts on WCAU Radio on June 12, 1971. A few years later, Roberts left the station and Charles Harmon, a newscaster on WDAS AM & FM got the job replacing Ken Roberts. Ken applied for and got Harmon's old job. The joke about the station at WDAS, says Gerry Wilkinson, a member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia and WDAS Operations Manager during the seventies was that the two were "traded" like baseball players. WCAU got Harmon and WDAS got Roberts. Of course, you don't trade air talent. It was just interesting that they both took each other's old job.
