The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia

Long, long ago, not in a galaxy far, far away, but right here in the Delaware Valley, the legendary Harvey Holiday meets up with Broadcast Pioneers member Tommy McCarthy. Both work together now. Holiday is doing mid-day at WOGL while McCarthy is the station's music director.

This photo dates from 1979. Harvey Holiday was working at WDAS AM & FM and Tommy McCarthy was at WMID in Atlantic City. They were co-emceeing a wedding reception of a friend here in Philadelphia.
