Another Third Wednesday Luncheon!
|
Hit After Hit, Smash After Smash, Blockbuster After Blockbuster... Here was another "monster" lunch where the "stars" didn't wait to come out at night. They were there at lunchtime! It was a Celebration of 35 Years of 92.5 XTU, Philadelphia's Country Station. It was a fun time, even though the snow was coming down before and during the luncheon. You didn't miss a special appearance by new country star, Reviver recording Artist, Tenille Arts. (Left to right) Member Joe Bell, Lora Lewis & Mark Razz Our panel included (in alphabetical order):
This luncheon was put together by our MC for the afternoon, Leigh Richards, who worked at WXTU for a quarter of a century. Leigh now is heard of 92.5, XTU's sister station, WMGK. Richards also serves on the Broadcast Pioneers' Board of Directors. It all took place at the beautiful and historic Bala Golf Club, 2200 Belmont Avenue (across the street from the state police) in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia. Only minutes away from Channels 6, 10 and 17 and the radio stations in Bala Cynwyd. Lunch included a nice, fresh, green salad with dressing, a roll, a 3-course meal, dessert, iced tea and coffee. Sorry, we will be unable to offer video of this luncheon as our camera crew was involved in a fender-bender accident en route to our luncheon. There were no injuries. Everyone is fine. |
WE WERE GLAD YOU WERE WITH US! |
