On Sunday morning, September 1, 1946, WCAU Radio premiered a new program called "Sports Scenes." This local program was hosted each week by different people. The first was famed football play-by-play sportscaster, Ted Husing. Husing worked for years for CBS Radio and was in town for the premiere broadcast.
