Annually, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia awards scholarships to deserving college undergraduate students studying in the field of communications. 2002 was no exception. We awarded three $2,000 scholarships to a trio of area students.

As in previous years, we offer video of the event. which took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Bala Golf Club in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia.

After the presentations, we had our regular program which included entertainment that was provided by a group of people who sing barber shop called "No Reason 4." Watch one of their songs!
