2008 marked Dave's 43rd year on Philadelphia radio and for the past 36 years, his voice has been synonymous with classical music in the morning. After hosting former classical WFLN's morning show, Dave continued with the same responsibilities at WRTI in September of 1997, where he also served as Executive Director. During his stint at WFLN, Dave assumed the positions of Program Director and Operations Manager.

Broadcast Pioneers member Dave Conant was an English teacher for Philadelphia, PA., and Camden, NJ, high schools before he pursued a career in broadcasting. He is a native of Passaic, NJ, and has bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Dave is delighted to be able to remain in a field he loves, in the academic surroundings of an urban university (Temple owns WRTI) with its seemingly endless diversity of people, music and the arts. Dave Conant is now WRTI-FM's General Manager.
