On September 25, 1983, Jim O'Brien, beloved weathercaster for WPVI, Channel 6 in Philadelphia was killed in a sky diving accident near Pottstown, Pennsylvania. On the 50th anniversary of the station, Anchorman Jim Gardner paid tribute to O'Brien.
