Years ago, Broadcast Pioneers member Kal Rudman was honored by having his name on a plaque on Philly's "Walk of Fame" on South Broad Street, just below Locust. However, somehow, the plaque popped out and had to be reinstalled on Friday, May, 2008. At 12:45 pm, the ceremonies took place with the unveiling of the reinstalled plaque. Several members of the Broadcast Pioneers were on hand for the event. They were Bob Pantano, Broadcast Pioneers President Gerry Wilkinson, Paul Gluck and Steve Ross.

The "Walk of Fame" was started by the Philadelphia Music Alliance, a nonprofit cultural group that promotes and preserves our city's rich musical heritage.
