The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia

David Plaut has been a producer with NFL Films since 1976. That's a third of a century. During that time, he collaborated with Broadcast Pioneers member Harry Kalas (the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team) on hundreds of films,
including the company's two flagship programs, Inside the NFL and NFL Game of the Week.

Beginning in 1985, Dave Plaut and Harry Kalas worked together annually on the Super Bowl champions' instant video/DVD, of which many rank among the bestselling sports videos of all time.

Plaut is a multi-Emmy award winner, the author of four books on baseball, and was book critic for USA Today Sports Weekly from 1991-2006.
