On Saturday morning, March 19, 2016, the Broadcast Pioneers held its 15th Annual Broadcast Symposium and Pizza Lunch for area college students.
The morning started with networking bagels and danish. Then there was a 75 minute panel discussion about a career in broadcasting, both the pros and cons.
After that, the students went into the Action News Studio and got to sit on the set and read a little bit of that morning's actual newscast. Then there was a tour of the station.
