Two more students try their hand at doing the news on the WPVI Action News set as other watch on. Everyone who wish to received a chance to either sit at the anchor desk or be on the weather set.
Here's a picture in the back right of the studio where their are studios that could be used to write quick breaking stories while the program is on the air.
More students look on while waiting their turn at being an "Action News Student Anchor." For many, it was their first time in a professional, commercial station in a major market.
Next, there was a panel discussion in which our panelists told the students a little about themselves and how they got into the business. This photo includes Broadcast Pioneers' Vice-President Diego Castellanos, a long time Channel 6 air talent, still on the air with his "Puerto Rican Panorama" show. Also in the snapshot is our Treasurer, Pat Delsi. Both are seen reaching for the pizza. At this "pizza party" was Action News Metrologist Adam Joseph who spoke to the students on a one to one basis.
