In 1962, Broadcast Pioneers member Ron Joseph, more commonly known to people in the Delaware Valley as RJ, offered to the public UHF Television Adapters that allowed the viewer to receive both VHF television (channels 2 to 13) and UHF television (Channel 14 and above).
