Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Luncheon

Broadcast Pioneers' Hall of Famer Jack Whitaker visited the organization on Wednesday, September 17, 2003. He was the speaker at our first luncheon for the new season. The event took place at the Bala Golf Club in Philadelphia.

Broadcast Pioneers member Jack Whitaker was honored by the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia in 1981 as our "Person of the Year." Many of you will remember Whitaker from his days at WCAU-TV. However, his real claim to fame was his days at CBS Sports and ABC Sports.
