For three years, 2002 to 2005, WPSG, Channel 57 ran a three-hour block of news from KYW Newsradio from 5 am to 8 am. The news headlines were taped less than an hour before air and repeated over and over with updates for weather and traffic. When conditions warranted, the headlines were updated during the broadcast.
