Jane Norman (Pixanne)
The following appeared in the June 1961 Temple University Alumni Review about Broadcast Pioneers member Jane Norman. It said:
Jane Lazarus Goldberg, BS in Ed '56, known professionally as Jane Norman, is currently featured on WCAU-TV with her own weekly half-hour program for children, "Pixanne." The program is seen Saturday mornings at 8 o'clock. In addition to her extensive television and "little theater" experience, she is an accomplished pianist, having performed numerous recitals between the ages of four and 14. At age eight, indeed, she wrote a composition, "A Sad Story," which was orchestrated by Harl MacDonald and played by the Philadelphia Orchestra.
