WCAU-TV Frank Rizzo Funeral Coverage

Here's excerpts from July 19, 1991. It's the funeral coverage of former Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo. Keep in mind that Rizzo was also a broadcaster. For years after his time in public office, he hosted a daily radio talk show over WCAU Radio.

The anchors for this coverage were Diane Allen and Broadcast Pioneers member Larry Kane. Doing the voice-over at the beginning of the special was Broadcast Pioneers member Herb Clarke.

Heard on the excerpts are Jane Robelet, Bill Baldini, Arthur Fennell, Terry Ruggles, Lu Ann Cahn and Harvey Clark. It was aired over WCAU-TV, Channel 10 in Philadelphia. These excerpts were taken from a 30 minute wrap-up aired at 11:30 pm that evening.
