Christy Springfield

Christy Springfield started on WCAU-FM, now WOGL-FM in March of 1983 doing overnights, midnight to 5 am. She was also on Sundays from 8 am to 1 pm. When the station switched to WOGL and an oldies format in November of 1987, Christy was one who stayed with 98.1. This picture dates from the "Hot Hits" era. Visitor to our website, Alan Rosenfeld says that this photo dates from May of 1983, two months after she joined the station. The Hot Hits format started on Tuesday, September 22, 1981.
