Georgie Woods was a legend in Philadelphia broadcasting for over 4 decades. He ruled the airwaves as a leading communicator in the Philadelphia market for his entire tenure in the industry. Dick Clark once said that when he needed to know what records were hot in Philadelphia, he would call Georgie Woods.
